Semi-submersible ships
Keppel Nantong Shipyard in China is an engineer and producer of offshore ships and constructions. Keppel Nantong received two contracts from Smit Shipping Singapore Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of the Royal Boskalis Westminster Group, to build two semi-submersible ships. These ships are used, for example, to transport project cargo. In the process the ship is submerged, so that the deck is largely under water. This allows the floating cargo to be towed above the deck.

Stainless steel splitter silencers
Properties
Alara-Lukagro designed and produced 28 identical stainless steel splitter silencers. The silencers were calculated in terms of their acoustic and technical air properties. They were then tailor-made to achieve a combination of a high noise reduction level and low pressure loss.

- Dimensions: W x H x L = 1,020 x 1,650 x 700 mm
- Each silencer was fitted with three sound absorbing splitters with a width of 250 mm
- High noise reduction level with a maximum pressure loss of 55 Pa
