Special doors for Eurojust
Alara-Lukagro already contributed to several projects for Heijmans. An example is the construction of the new building for an agency of the European Union: New Premises Eurojust in The Hague (NL).
Special doors
For years Eurojust housed in two separate buildings. The new headquarters was going to change that. The architecture team, existing of Mecanoo, Royal Haskoning-DHV and DS landschapsarchitecten, designed the special building in the international zone of The Hague. Hereby, there is enough space for cultivation, which complements the close, green environment. Heijmans realized the project and awarded the delivery of 33 special doors to Alara-Lukagro. These doors are burglarproof, fire resistant as well as soundproof executed and meet the special wishes the ultimate consumer imposes.
International law
Eurojust stimulates and improves the coordination of investigations and prosecutions between states of the European Union. The institute also improves the cooperation between these states, in particular by facilitating the execution of the international law and the assistance at extradition requests. The organization celebrates her fifteenth anniversary in 2017.
