Kilden theater fitted with soundproof doors
In association with its partner Vibratec Norway, Alara-Lukagro supplied 63 soundproof doors to AF Gruppen for the Kilden Performing Arts Centre. This is equal to a total of no less than 117 door leaves.
Kilden theater
Kilden is the largest arts centre between Oslo and Stavanger. The theatre is located in the south of Norway in Odderøya, Kristiansand. The building consists of a foyer, four auditoriums with over 2,200 seats, rehearsal rooms and administration facilities. The building has a surface area of 15,000 m2, a volume of 128,000 m3 and is valued at over €200 million.

- Soundproofed 42-56 dB
- 30 or 60 minutes fire resistant
- Preservation treatment: diverse colours of liquid lacquer
Special characteristics
A large number of doors were fitted with 25 mm solid plastic cassettes with spectacular LED lighting that responds interactively to the sound in the hall concerned.
