Sound Insulating Solutions for Cruise Ships
We attach great importance to pleasant and long-lasting relationships with our customers. A nice example hereof is our collaboration with Dolderman BV. For years now, Alara-Lukagro has supported Dolderman at the design, delivery and installation of sound reducing facilities, for example, the sound enclosures for cruise ships that we supply together. Recently, this resulted in a new order for the Viva Two by Scylla Tours AG.
Sound insulating enclosures for cruise ships
Being able to enjoy your stay on board of a cruise ship in peace and without unnecessary sounds is an absolute must. To reduce the sound of the Caterpillar generator sets on board of the cruise ship Viva Two, Alara-Lukagro delivers the sound enclosures.
The Viva Two is sailing on the Danube and offers space to 190 passengers. The ship has a length of 135 meters and a width of 11 meters. On board, divided over 4 decks, you can find, among other things, various (luxurious) sleeping cabins, several restaurants, a bar and areas for wellness and fitness.
Cruise ships are built for various uses such as ships for day cruises, ships for river cruises, and ferries that are operating between, for example, Texel and the mainland.
Collaboration with Dolderman
Over the years, Alara-Lukagro has supplied many sound insulating enclosures in collaboration with and on behalf of Dolderman. We are happy to assist them in developing further sound reducing solutions on board.
Alara-Lukagro provides the survey visit, after which the design is completed in full agreement with and after coordination of the last details with the client. When design and production are finished, Alara-Lukagro’s assembly team will install the sound insulating solution on board of the ship in the port where the ship is situated.
