Louvres Technical Area Water Sports Centre
BAM Infra Regionaal BV has given Alara-Lukagro the order to deliver various acoustic louvres for the new to be realized water sports centre Het Bastion in Nijmegen. The louvres will be applied in the technical area of the centre.
Water Sports Centre Het Bastion
Water Sports Centre Het Bastion is located under the bridge named Verlengde Waalbrug on the city island Veur Lent in Nijmegen. The centre provides shelter to the Nijmegen Rescue Brigade and four water sports associations, namely rowing club Phocas, sailing club De Loefbijter, canoeing club De Batavier, and windsurfing club Aeolus.
Louvres used
The acoustic louvres used, type AL-R/600V, are provided with an adjusted crack to comply with the requirements for both ventilation and acoustic performance. When used, the louvres have an air sound insulation value of approximately 25 dB and an air transit of approximately 38 to 43%.
The louvres are treated with a duplex powder coating in the RAL colour 7021 (black-grey) chosen by the customer. In addition to producing the louvres for this project, Alara-Lukagro also provides the engineering, conservation, delivery, and assembly of the louvres.
