Enclosures including vibration isolation
Alara-Lukagro has delivered enclosures for a compressor and vacuum pump room. To prevent the entire enclosure from shaking, the pipe-work of the silencers is mounted to isolation hangers.
Isolation hangers
The pipe-work of the silencers makes too much noise. This doesn’t only spread through the air, but also through impact sound which generates vibrations. To stop these, vibration isolation is applied to disconnect these parts from the construction. By attaching the isolation hanger between the pipe-work and the ceiling, vibrations of the pipes are reduced to an acceptable level. In this case the isolation hangers are combined with fibreglass isolation pads.

- Outer dimensions: WxLxH = 4250x5890x3750 mm.
Acoustic enclosure for the vacuum pump room
- Outer dimensions: WxLxH = 4750x5890x3750 mm.
Sandwich isolation plate and mineral wool for bottom frame
- Sandwich plate dimensions: LxWxD = 2000x1000x2 mm.
- Mineral wool dimensions: LxWxD = 600x1000x100 mm.
Sound insulating/absorbing protection wall in U shape
- Outer dimensions: WxLxH = 3200x7200x7000 mm.
Silencers
In the enclosures are also splitter silencers designed for both the air inlet and the air outlet. The enclosures are also waterproof sealed. They are designed, delivered and assembled for Van Aalst Bulkhandling and are located in Moerdijk (NL).
