Office DPG Media
Media company DPG Media’s new office, named Mediavaert, is located at the Amstel Business Park in Amsterdam, and will be one of the biggest wooden-hybrid office buildings in the world. Flexibility, a healthy working environment, innovation, and creativity are of the utmost importance. As a result of underground heat/cold storage combined with a water pump and solar panels on the roof, the building is highly energy efficient and will be rewarded with the BREEAM Excellent Certificate.
In addition to workspace for the editors of, among others, Het Parool, de Volkskrant, Trouw, Qmusic, Nu.nl and Tweakers, the building also offers space for test labs, radio recording studios for Qmusic, meeting rooms, restaurants, an espresso bar, and an event location.
Sound Insulating Doors
The single-leaf and double-leaf soundproof interior doors with corner frames are applied, for example, in the building’s studios. The doors are equipped with double drop sills to make sure that the doors comply with the highest acoustic requirements without obstructing the passage.
The doors will be treated with a coating in a RAL colour chosen by the customer. In addition to producing the doors for this project, Alara-Lukagro also provides the engineering, conservation, and delivery of these doors.
