DeLaMar Theater in Amsterdam

Alara-Lukagro was approached by Hillen & Roosen about a large soundproof sliding door. It was delivered to the client’s full satisfaction. This collaboration resulted in a second contract for the DeLaMar Theater, involving a customised, soundproof exit door.

The DeLaMar Theater in Amsterdam is a contemporary theatre with two halls (over 1,500 seats), a grand Café and diverse foyers also suitable as venues for events. The theatre, located in the centre of Amsterdam offers a varied programme of plays, cabaret, musicals, family theatre and diverse international performances.

The solution

Alara-Lukagro was responsible for the entire process for the sliding door — the design, engineering, full production and installation. The sliding door was fully customised for the theatre and fitted with design louvres.
