Acoustic measures for roof ventilators and cooling installations for Struik Foods
Struik Foods Europe has been producing soups, sauces and meals since 1950. The roof ventilators and cooling installations on the roof of its headquarters in Voorthuizen produced too much noise, resulting in noise level standards being exceeded. Alara-Lukagro developed acoustic measures for the installations.
Acoustic measures for roof ventilators and cooling installations
The diverse production processes make frequent use of the extraction ventilators and cooling installations. Struik Foods BV production facility in Voorthuizen is located in a rural area and Struik commissioned Alara-Lukagro to fit silencers and acoustic enclosures to diverse noise sources on the roof, so as not to burden the local environment.
This was subject to the condition that the measures did not have a negative impact on production capacity and that the noise levels would effortlessly comply with the company’s permit conditions. The excellent collaboration between the engineers at Struik and Alara-Lukagro ensured that the project was completed to the client’s total satisfaction and Struik no longer has to worry about noise nuisance.
