Pon Power BV fitted a luxury yacht, built by Scheepswerf Hakvoort in Monnickendam, with two propulsion engines and two C18 generator sets. The generators are intended to supply the yacht with power, even when the vessel is lying at anchor. Naturally the yacht’s owner does not want to be disturbed by the noise produced by the generators. Therefore effective soundproofing was required for the generator sets.

Pon Power BV approached Alara-Lukagro for the design and production of the two acoustic enclosures for the generators.
